I am a self trained web designer, basic html, css and java skills. I was asked to design a property site for a client who have now requested a search engine for the site.

They wanted the site launched asap so with no database/ cms knowledge I set the site up installed adobe contribute on their computers to allow them edit the site.

I really need help and the easiest way to get the search engine to work.

I have tried downloading search engines to index the site but I am not sure what to do after that.

Basically I need to keep the design that is set so if you click on check box for zone, the drop down menu for the price and property type it will bring you to the page that matches those terms eg.

What are the best and easiest options I have looked at asp. php and perl but have no programming knowledge.

help would be greatly appreciated on tutorials or if someone knows a program that can achieve this.

thanks in advance.

tom should wait and read the TOS regarding links rolleyeys

You are going to need links (not from here) and an edge that makes you the best (ot better at least) to help achieve this

I can see that Google has indexed about 92 pages from your site. Use Google itself for your site wide search. Try this: [link]

I would use Google Custom Search, or else try HTdig.

The link I have given refers to the Google Custom search.
