just wondering how to apply those fine horizontal lines you sometimes see on graphics giving them the illusion of being sharper defination images. (fine horizontal lines from top to bottom) is there a simple command in graphics programs for doing this? thanks

Are you talking about scanlines? This is possible in photoshop, not click-one-button simple, but not complex at all.

You can also do it by nesting a table and have the cell padding or cell spacing set to 1 have one table (in the back set to the colour you want the line to be, and the front one the same colour as your page.

Um, that's fine for just one, but an easier method (for just one) is to use CSS borders.

What I think stevenjm was talking about was a graphic, as shown in the example tutorial, though.

Philh, there are probly 100x ways to perform any single task in photoshop, and I always seem to remember the most backwards method of doing them Embarassment is not necessary when you are around me.
