Hello,
My graphic designer gave me a pdf that I need to follow to intergrate into the web page. The problem is that she used a font called "myriad". I need to pay to get this font. My question is: if I buy this font, will the people see the same font(myriad) as me or if they don't have this font they will see the default font?
thanks

If it's an image, they'll see the font, if it's text... I'm not sure

If it is text and the font is not on the persons pc, then it will not display. Although I remember something from a few years ago that tried to reference the font remotely - don't know if anything came of it though.
I think the visitor would see it in Times.

I'm not sure if this is the exact font you were referring to (it's called fregne myriad) but here's a link just in case:

For simple text, the totally safe fonts are: verdana, arial, times new roman, courier new. The rest may or may not display on a person's machine. It all depends on whether a person has the particular font installed.
