Well, I'd start by reading this entire forum as it's 95% relating to that very question.

That's a loaded question, doncha know? Basic SEO includes:

  • Appropriate text included that is relevant to your topic
  • Ensuring that you have hard coded html links to all of your pages. Also it helps to have every page of your site within 3 link hops from the home page.
  • Move CSS and JavaScript to external files
  • Get listed on authority sites if possible. Otherwise try to get some inbound links from other sites.

That's a beginning...

- Domain canonicalisation.

- Index/root canonicalisation.

- Breadcrumb navigation.

- Unique title tags.

- Unique meta description per page.

Could friendlyfrank be a reincarnation of Frank Sinatra?

As I recall, he sang New York, New York, thus setting a trend for repetition of key points smile

Those topics have been covered dozens of times over the last few years.

Check the old threads and ask more questions.

The main thingd:
The content of the web page relevant.
the services u provide, use that keywords in the text of the content.
The meta tags and meta keywords.
Use robot.txt file in the html code.
Use site map of site.
