Understood. We all have our preferences; in my opinion, it's just a matter of what it takes to help us do our work better and faster.My "problem" is that I like the functionality of HomeSite ... but would on occasion like to write ad copy in wysiwyg without the code getting altered (okay, I'm fussy). DW3 (which I also have) has an html editing mode (window), but it in no way has the functionality of HomeSite. HomeSite has a wysiwyg window, but ... nope (at least the last time I tried, which was months ago).
It's too bad ... if these could be integrated, I would pay good money for:
HomeWeaver ... no ... DREAMSITE!
On the other hand, I don't see how wysiwyg could be programmed to not alter code ... unless it would only alter the code you're inputting via wysiwyg. (Hmmmm.)
Macromedia and Allaire ... are you listening?!!!
