Blue on blue, although looks nice, when I am tired I cannot see.

You have also picked the smallest font possible.

For a "search engine", your searching capabilities are extreemely limited, even in the advanced search.

nice you should make the background of the search from a difefrent colour than the rest of the site though as its hard to make out.

I think the site looks great! looks very easy to navigate. Very clean.
However, I don't like the blue. If you notice most professional sites use a white BG.

Try this...

Make the page BG #FFFFFF

Turn the Table BG to #CCCCCC or #FFFFFF BUT keep the blue table borders I think those look cool.

Let us see it with the changes!

I agree with Xela. A white background would make the site much more friendly on the eyes. The site looks fantastic though. Just the color change.

You got a problem with your JavaScript somewhere. Get an Explorer alert - looks like a variable dec. though not sure.

I'll check it out. BTW, what is your browser/version?

FYI: There is still a JavaScript error on your site. I'm using IE 5.5.

Line: 38
Char: 1
Error: Object Expected

Two other suggestions:

1. As others have said, blue on blue is tough on the eyes. Try for something with more contrast.

2. The fonts are way too small. If you like that look, try switching your CSS to use percentages for the font sizes instead of Point or Pixels. That way the average user will be able to see the site as you intended, but those with bad eye sight can bump up the overall font size in their browser and see larger text.

Good luck!
Bryan

What databases you use. If only yours it's not good because users will not be able to search really good resources if they are not in your own database. Try to collaborate with other bigger search engines.
