Is dedicated IP important for web hosting in terms of SE ?

IP is important only for .com/.net/.org/.eu/.info/etc sites to show which country the site is really located in.

If your host will allow you to have a unique IP for your site - I suggest that you take it. A unique IP costs very little ( about 24 $ per year with most hosts) and provides you many additional benefits - added convenience of calling your server side scripts from the IP address, less latency time and increased protection from being associated with a bad site in the shared hosting plan.

If I want a site to succeed in a competitive market, I *always* take a dedicated IP.
