what is a csbrowse?

Finding this in my log files as a keyword that's been searched for...more than once.

Why would someone enter my site searching for csbrowse?

Are you are saying that this was a search term used in referrals from AOL/Compuserve, or a search term used in referrals from some other search engine (if so, which one?) or searches made by someone at your site, using your site search engine (assuming you have one) or what?

csbrowse is associated with searches from websearch.cs.com, which is part of AOL (cs.com being Compuserve).

If you provide some more detail (eg an extract of one of the log file entries), that would help.

It was in my awstats as one of the keywords used to enter my site.

It could be Awstats misinterpreting a search from websearch.cs.com . The log analyzers don't get right every time. Like with all software, glitches occur from time to time.
