Ad management platforms?

1. What are some good ad management platforms that can assist in my long overdue and new decision to accept ads on my site?

2. In addition to managing and tracking banner ads, can such software also be used to track text link ads?

3. I'm new at this, so is it recommended or a must to have a way for the advertiser to login and check stats and make their own changes to the ads that are run?

4. Are there any general ad contracts out there that people use in agreements?

Thanks for your input.

Google "Banman" - I've used this in the past and it should meet all your needs. The cost is pretty low for the quality of the product and it's stable.

It still costs almost a grand US, but that's a far cry from other dedicated ad serving platforms. The system we use at work was about $25,000.

Prior to this "killer app" we used Banman for years - it handled tens of thousands of ad-calls per day, so it can keep up as you grow. It'll track text links fine and you can allow advertisers to login into their own areas or you can generate the reports yourself and send them out.

Feel free to post up other options for ad-serving, though, as maybe by now there are more low-to-mid-priced options avaiable.

Trust me when I say there are no free platforms that will give you what you requested AND keep up long-term. You get what you pay for.

Try PHP ADS NEW

It's free and it's open source. I use it, and it amazing. It even has geotracking reports.

It is programmed in PHP.
