Hi,
I have some books on creativity and brainstorming, but I would like to expand knowledge from that area. Has anybody any book on brainstorming or creativity topic? I would like to exchange some books with him, also some e-books.

I would also be grateful for any reccommedation of any good book on that topic.

Thank you
Ernest

Dear Student, my advise to you is to put your books down for a while and get out there and do things...
Hope that helps!

I say that due to the fact that where as I am an avide reader, nothing in this industry comperes with hands on trial and error, sweat blood and tears from your own brow and just kicking back on the forums available.

Hi Ernest,

If you don't mind saying, what is the goal you wish to achieve? Perhaps a Master Mind group would do the trick.

OMG - I just read what I said to this poor newcomer!

Belated welcome to you!

I seriously didn't mean to be rude or unhelpful to you...

Thanks flyingrose for actually making a great suggestion smile

Ideas, creativity, and brainstorming come naturally to some and not to others. Personally, I have more ideas than I could possibly ever apply so if someone wants ideas on a particular site or topic just ask.

If I could develop a way to market ideas for businesses I'd be rich.

You may find some interesting information by doing searches for various types of thinking: analytical, intuitive, predictive, critical, associational, analogical. To target your searches you can also include phrases such as "left brain" "right brain" or algorithm.

What type of thinking is used by someone can often be determined by whether their perspective is usually of the tree, a group of trees, the forest, the continent, the planet or the galaxy.

I regularly have difficulty communicating with a person who can only see part of one tree while I am attempting to explain why the forest must be considered. Doesn't work well.

The more you develop your thinking skills the higher the communication between the left and right hemispheres of the brain and the more balanced they will be.

Well now - my brain must be slightly out of balance.
I can see EVERYTHING! All the time!

If you can see everything your brain is IN balance - not out of balance. Most likely you use a lot more of it too. And that is precisely why I want to work with you.

Heheheh - you'd be lucky mate, I have had a dirty great big sign on my website to say "I'm closed to new business" for the last 3 years! It still doesn't keep those pesty folks from contacting me and begging to be taken on... LOL

[everyone] wants to work with me...unfortunately there is only one of me smile

I think we should make this a quote of the week!

It's a most excellent statement... I just shared it & sent it to my sister - who absolutely loves it - thanks Rose!
