The latest LondonSEO meetup was held in Brighton, just last night. We started out at 7pm at the Alfresco restaurant/bar on the seafront with a fine Italian meal, mostly pizza, and beer, and some chat.

We then moved on to the downstairs bar for more beer, and this is when the majority of people arrived. PropellerNet, a local firm, sponsored the bar, and I guess we had about 40 people attend in all. It was good to meet up with Ammon Johns again after several years.

Most attendees were from Brighton, London, Sussex and Surrey and the south-coast. Much was discussed over the next few hours, not only marketing and SEO. Lisa and Becky turned up in their SEOchicks.org T-shirts, and Rob Kerry in his LondonSEO.org version. Many pictures were taken and by now are probably posted on their respective sites.

After hours we moved on to a club for a while, and then the last 10 stragglers moved on to someone's flat to continue the chat and the beer until 5 a.m. or later. What a night!

Next one will be in a couple of months time, probably in central London, but the guys from Brighton are keen to do it all again down there at some future date too...

Well, I'll be leaving here (Canada) on the 6th of Sept and will be in London on the morning of the 7th - over night in town, too.

I think we head for Amsterdam on the 8th - can't recall...

Hmm. I'll have to see what I am doing that day.
