I am new here, so bear with me...
We are currently in the midst of two different projects. One is a full length feature film we are seeking funding for AND the other is a Mardi Gras society.
The film does not depend on sponsors, but it would be a tremendous asset and help.
The Mardi Gras society DOES depend on sponsors, fundraisers, etc.
Any ideas how to attract these sponsors?
Any ideas on how to handle fundraisers? We have our OWN merchandise, but there are literally hundreds of different items to choose from. We wanted to create a site for this, but are puzzled as to HOW to do it with so many products available!

Also, I almost forgot to mention, we cannot create or launch a website for the film yet, for obvious reasons. So, this makes things really difficult for us.

Welcome to SEF!!
It helps others respond to specific questions you have if you don't comingle different topics. I don't see how the film and society are related so probably best to think of them as separate topics/tactics/etc.

Does the society have any members? Developing sponsors thru member networking is often the first place to start.

Are you looking to develop it yourself? If so development with a database is typically how you should approach a site selling many products. If you are not familiar with this (a lot) then you should probably find someone else to develop it for you who is.
