What plausable options are available other than google? I have a social network that should be launching next month or so pending programers process. I heard of adbrite, and kanoodle that both offer PPC commsions to drive traffic to my site...I was wondering if anyone could make any suggestions. THanks

If you're asking about PPC methods to drive traffic to your site the two largest PPC options are Google Adwords and Yahoo! Search Marketing (formerly Overture).

The secondary PPC engines are Looksmart, Kanoodle, Enhance, Miva (formerly Findwhat). We have a separate PPC forum here where you can ask additional questions.

There are many other methods to drive traffic to your site including (in no particular order): Search Engine Optimization (SEO), linking, placing articles on other sites and in e-zines, affilliate programs, press releases, viral advertising, blogging, etc.
