People are researching web hosting companies everyday. So there's a good chance one or more of the hosting company data are being searched by people.
BUT, getting traffic requires the page rank well for the company/keyword phrase - not such an easy task for newer websites in that vertical.
As for the data, although it's not 100% complete, you will be able to have 3000 pages instantly (instead of creating the page one by one yourself).
Suddenly having 3,000 new pages is not a good idea for any website. Engines like to see a natural progression of growth for a website. 3,000 new pages in one day smacks of automation and usually gets a greasy eyeball from the engines - something no one wants.
Of course, it would be an excellent data (and much much higher priced) if I have the time to update it, but unfortunately, I don't.
Honestly then, the data is next to worthless, IMO. Not only would I have to pay for it, but I'd still have to invest a lot of my own time in getting rid of the deadwood - and there may be LOTS, we have no way to know really...
Sorry, I'm still going to have to say there's little real value to the stuff - sadly. I'm sure it did take loads of time to compile, but in the end, it had better be pretty cheap to warrant any money changing hands.
...not to mention there's the whole issue of what if it gets sold to more than one buyer - duplicated content does no one any good. This is NOT a knock against you, but you're brand new here and you're asking folks to trust you, give you some money, and take on a job of undetermined size, which may or may not have any value down the road...
Having said all that, I wish you the best of luck with it. It does take a LOT of time and work to build good unique content.
