Hey, sorry this is a bit off topic but my paypal cart wont let people buy from it anymore. I download it from download.com and its a free program. Whenever anyone clicks on the add to order button it brings them to another window that says: The recipent of this program is not a registered user, or something like that. But the thing is I use to test it and see if it would let people buy and it worked fine, now it doesnt. Also it says I need a business acount when I go to help section in paypal program. I dont have a business acount, but why did it let me act as if I was buying before? thanks

primewholesale, you need a business account to accept payments, it will only take a second to set it up, so get on it. I accept paypal payments as an option, so I do know that much, and it will allow you to be listed within paypal shops, a great source of free traffic, don't forget to submit. I don't use their cart, it is just to limited. But I would imagine it must have a practice mode.

Well, if you don't like Pay Pal's shipping charge system, I fear you like other credit card gateways even less wink Pay Pal is clearly the least expensive solution regarding payment with CC.

If you don't like their shipping charge system, why you don't get any other (simple inexpensive) shopping cart which offers Pay Pal as CC gateway.

primewholesale, I guess I misunderstood you a little. I thought you're unhappy with the shipping prices Pay Pal offer (UPS), but probably you're unsatisfied how flexible, means inflexible, their shipping rate system overall is.

Well, the answer is the same - look for a different shopping-cart and make sure it meets your requirements. Be prepared you have to pay a bit for it, when it comes to details like your shipping charge problem, simple shopping carts usually fail. However this is independent of using Pay Pal as CC gateway.

Frank
