Non US business

I hope someone could give me input on this.

I'm running a service out of the states. Now, this is a translation service, so there's really no difference as to where I'm located, physically (in fact, several of my customers are on the US).

I wonder if this could be a problem in a attracting new customers, particularly since I don't really have a US address. Could this be an obstacle? Would people refrain from purchsing just because I'm overseas? Mine is a B-to-B concern, mostly. Would that make any difference.

I'd really appreciate any ideas...

Yes people don't like offshore business. We've got a bad reputation. Especially for B-to-B services. All that nigerian scam s**** really doesn't help either. It won't limit you completely, but it will be problem. If you could set up a virtual ofice I strongly believe it will increase your conversion (even if in a small %, but that % adds up over time). If not, unless you are in a first world country, I definitively would not advertise where you are.

TKS greenleaves. No, I'm not on a first world country... LOL. Too bad, I need to find me a US address and phone number now.
Hope it does increase conversion, though.
Well, I'm in ther market for a virtual office then. Ideas and personal experience will be greatly welcomed.
