Embedded Search Database and How to Optimize It

My site is a karaoke site. Customers can search by artist, song or disc number to view the discs from a database of all songs. eg. Search Rolling Stones and 14 discs return. However there is no Rolling Stones page apart from that on-the-fly search. For other items like equipment, there is a static page for each item.
I went to Google recently, and did the search for rolling stones karaoke. Nothing returned for my site, but most of my competitors have a return on Google that mirrors what you would expect if you visited their karaoke site itself and type in rolling stones in the artist search section. Somehow, my competitors have been able to let Google do a virtual search of their song database and create the same search as if it were on the competitor site. Or it's as if Google has crawled their song database and created an internal Google database for my competitors search. This is a huge advantage since 20,000 songs are involved. Obviously I cant create a page for each song. I have however made sure each disc has all song, artist and disc info in the meta tag. This was done a month ago and there has been no change for my website. Is this database circumstance unique to me or do others have large databases inbedded in their website with on-the-fly pages rather than physical pages that don't show in Google. I hope I explained this well enuf for someone help or dircct me to another forum or anywhere to resolve this Thanks

In fact, I'll start by gathering some more info:

How long has the site been online?

This could be a simple as Google just hasn't finished indexing and ranking pages.

Whether it's a human or spider, when a link is clicked, the page gets created and when it's all done and fully loaded, we both get a look-see.

Technically, humans can watch as a page loads up, while spiders will patiently wait for the all-clear message before venturing onto the page for a read-through.

Now, at some point you will need to address the necessity of ensuring each page that get dynamically created also shows unique meta tag data such as the title and description info. It takes some doing but is possible.

So, let's start with the basics - how old is the site - how long has it been online?

And since I'm asking, have you been building good inbound links?

This site has been up for 10 years but two months ago, we created meta tags, names etc for each disc in the database showing artist and song name.

"Link is clicked" seems like bootstrapping to me. Our competitor has pages on his site for say a search of "jesus take the wheel" by carrie underwood. But putting "jesus take the wheel karaoke" into Google, returns pages unlike his site search pages. (do that and you see the first result from usakaraoke) It's as if Google spidered his site and used that info to generate pages on his site that don't otherwise exist. How is that possible?

After all that work on our site with meta tags, the same search shows our home page only where we are featuring the disk. Google ignores that song in our database of jesus take the wheel songs. It's as if our database does not exist, just the home page. We have looked at their source data and that of loudkaraoke which has similar results and can not find any magic bullet solution.

When you say building good inbound links, do you mean from search? Or from another source?

site:www.karaokewh.com search I read that if you type this into Google, you will obtain how many links you have to Google. I have less than 500 links for my site and its 20,000 songs. I have done the same with my competitors and they have 10,000 or more links due to the song links. They started in business two years ago and I have been doing this for 10 years and I feel a bit foolish that my home grown website may not be optimized as theirs are since they had to buy off the shelf carts andd ecommerce software which is obviously google friendly. Any suggestions, guys, or if you could point me to a paid pro who will get results and not just get his ticket punched. Thanks.
