Google doesn't own the data you search either.
Well, google does have its own database of indexes that is not readily available unlike the database Answers.com Uses. So, this is incomparable & insensible.
The great thing about Answers.com is you don't have to search millions of pages, but instead find everything you're looking for on one page.
Great thing = A combination of wiki and Dictionary.com. right?
If you don't like Answers.com or Google, then so be it, don't use it, but I'm sure many will find them both quite useful.
Although I just like its visual appearence, but the main purpose of your thread was to highlight Answers.com in context of Google, "Google switched to Answers.com...".
In anycase, I dont intend to defame the service in any manner, but the fact remains that they dont have an 'Innovative Technology' in place considering the way its being advertised with the name of google.
