search enginewatch doesn't watch

I have been looking around the web and I have found that some search engine experts are not what they say.
Search engine watch doesn't list any search engines for New Zealand, it would appear that anything south of Florida isn't worth reporting on, despite the fact that New Zealand has around six search engines. Non are listed via their website and it seems like they are biased towards certain countries and engines.
It makes me wonder who pays them??

If something is noteworthy SEW will be talking about it I don't really have many complaints about their coverage of the Industry.
