Hi,

I have tried a very innocuous search phrase into Google Search:

"simple homemade robots"

The third item in the search results is titled:

1986 newspaper article

1986 newspaper article... black screen radium mp3 codec 1.263 simple homemade robots openforbusinesscode occult investigator silver crest san marcos orientalsupplycompany santa ...
aclu_news.marriagereading.cn/army_newspapers/army_newspapers.html - 82k - Cached - Similar pages

and it selecting that link takes you to a porn/adult site. All the links in that page seem to take you to certain porn sites.

How does one protect against such malicious search content? And, how can I have this page not appear as part of the search results?

Also, is there a way to block all content from the ".cn" domain?

I tried your search via google.com (US) and didn't come across the offending link. It's a pity too, because who doesn't like "simple homemade robots" porn?

Seriously though, assuming your version still shows it, you can report it as spam. Also, you can usually tell from the listing if the site is going to be garbage. If the description is a bunch of gibberish, like the above description, don't bother clicking on it.

Finally, you can always add "-site:.cn" (w/o quotes) to your search query, which will filter out sites with the .cn tld.

Drop a spam report to Google.

They are always interested in bad results like this.
