Pausing Ad Campaigns

I have an ad campaign which brings people to a specific course. This course starts Monday so I no longer want the ads to run. I don't like the idea of deleting because when the course runs again, I want to run the ad again. So does Pausing it work? Will Pausing negatively impact my account in anyway?

Also, will my account be affected by this message:

Your Google AdWords prepayment balance is running low.
You have less than a weeks' worth of funds remaining, so please make an additional payment by visiting your Make Payments page. Please be aware that if you increase your daily budget, you may exhaust your funds more quickly. Please note that, if your balance hits zero, our system automatically stops showing your ads until you make another payment.

Meaning will it affect the impressions even if my balance DOES NOT hit zero.

Thanks

Just pause anything you don't currently want to run and then resume them later. Pausing does not negatively impact your account; however, when you resume them they will have to be manually approved again by Google Reps.

Google gives preference to anything that makes them more money so I suspect that allowing your prepayment balance to stay low WILL affect how much traffic they give you.

At one time you could buy all the available traffic for your keywords. Now Google feeds advertisers only the percentage of that traffic they want you to have and you know Google - that algorithm considers everything but the kitchen sink.
