Hello all,
I was wondering if some of you fellow SE gurus know about the eye tracking results done on a Google search results page where we see that most users tend to look at the top left of Google page, then they would jug down the natural results and hardly look at the paid results on the right side of the page.
Sometimes Google will list 3 paid listings on the top left, but very often, we see our listings on the right hand side of Googles page.
My question is: Why doesn't Google adjust it's method of displaying ads according to the eye tracking studies they have made or some agency made?
Could these results be made to sway advertisers from the truth? Who knows!
That's why I want to ask you guys if you know anything about this matter.
Your thoughts!
