Hi,

Can you provide a sample proposal for optimizing a 10 page site.

The site needs:
Site analysis
Keyword research
Competition analysis
Content optimized
Incoming Links
Meta tags, alt tags optimized
Downloading, uploading site files.
SE/Directory Submission

Thank you

I call them Statements of Work. If you call them "Contracts" then depending on the size of the business, they may filter it through their Legal Department. That could complicate matters.

What you have outlined is pretty good. Use them as paragraph headers and fill in the details.

DO NOT forget a section on payment amounts and schedules!

It's always better to write your proposal in your own words dovetailed in with the exact needs and issues of the individual website. It need not be complex.

I agree with Yellowwing and Excell (though I call them optimization proposals)

If you know enough about what you are doing then you shouldn't have any problems creating a proposal outlining such.

Thanks for your replies - I now need advice on writing a PPC Proposal.

Where can I find a sample proposal?

The best advice is to simply write out what you will provide.

Thanks St0n3y...this is what I have done but was looking for something more formal.

For prices do you simply estimate this based on the time involved?

Do you have the client set up his own account or use your own?

Thanks

All good questions that have no one-size-fits-all answer. We routinely adjust our prices based on what is required and the services provided. Our contract was written based entirely off what we do with some legal mumbo jumbo added in along the way.

For setting up the account, you can do it or have the client do it... just know how much you'll charge if you do or don't do it.
