For several years I have been using Submit to optimize and submit to main search engines. It was part of a Microsoft BCentral package but no longer is offered. I liked the way I could optimize keywords, meta tags and check for broken links.....
So recommend a good solid optimization and submit program that I can use for several business websites for opt and submission to the main engines from my desktop. What do you use? Thanks.

I never submit anything to search engines. They find you once someone else links to your site.
Xenu LinkSleuth is great for checking both your internal and external-outgoing links.

You do not need to use a program to submit to thousands of searchengines or whatever. If ANYTHING submit to DMOZ.org and tahoo business directory, Set up your site with google sitemaps(look it up its easy) and let the spiders find you

Ya that's too bad about the Microsoft Business Directory. Wish they still had all that.

like suggested above by kynduvme, create a XML sitemap and submit it to Google... they are a bit vauge, but they do provide info on what their spiders/bots are crawling.
