JimWorld Forums: Which One(s)

We previously had an html site, but we now have a brand new site made in PHP and I do a lot of PPC advertising, hoever I now want to do some SEO for the site. I want to do a good job, but I really do not want to have a huge learning curve as I am short on time.
Currently I am planing on doing the backlinking first and then the onsite SEO.
I have been looking at 3 programs that seem to have several happy users.

SEO Elite
Web CEO
Webposition 4

I am really SEO illiterate, so any plain english insight into these 3 programs would be great. I am not sure if all of the programs do the backlinking or if that is all that SEO Elite does, so I really would be grateful for the help.

Okay should I assume that by the lack of responce that either no one knows, or I was wrong in thinking that this was a help forum. Sorry to be a jerk but I do not know whqat else to say.

Or even more likely (w/ 169 views of the thread) than those, none of those programs are worth a thing when it comes to seo. That's kind of the first thing to learn about seo, there isn't an automated program that provides seo solutions and overcome the learning curve required. I'm betting no one has said much, because a lack of use of those programs and thus there isn't much to comment on. I've been involved with seo for many years, and while i'm familiar with the programs - taken for a test spin to see what they do - i've never seen a use. Come to think of it I've never heard anyone say they were useful in optimizing a site. Anyone?

Those are just the wrong tools to be using. Someone asked almost exactly the same question the day before you did (if I remember rightly), refer to my answer in that thread...

Okay fair enough. I could not find the other question though. Let me ask this then.
1) Out of all of the similar priced software, which one will help my business the most?

2) Who is the best company to hire to do the SEO on my Oscommerce website. I want a company that takes care of it all.

osCommerce is notoriously difficult to SEO.

You need all the fixes in place before you let any search engines see the site - because the SEO work changes the URLs of all the pages, and you do not want search engines to see the original names at all.

If stuff is already indexed then you just made things ten times harder to fix.

Consider it 10 times harder then as the site went live on 11/4. I have had the previous static site up for years though.
who is best for a job like this?
