I have a client who is always working on their site. I'm at another location also working on the site. Is there way of locking parts of the site when there being worked on so no work is lost.

I know with Sourcesafe and other programs that this kind of thing is possible.

I do most of my FTPing within Dreamweaver cos i'm lazy but its has nothing like what i'm looking for.

any suggestions?

Dreamweaver has a checking in and out function, but not too sure if it works with the FTP settings, I've never actually tried it, so sorry if you've already have done.

yeah i have and I advise everyone to steer clear, its just makes a mess.
