Well first of all, I like it. A fresh design, nice, simple effect on the cubes and the idea seems sound.
The home page lets users know what the site is about and yes I'd say it's clear and easy to understand.
I am even considering buying a cube myself, so I can't be the only one considering it. The only thin i'd be worried about is your cube price getting too high to be worth it later on. If a cube cost less than $10 now, I'd amost certainly get one, but at the current price of $35, I'd want to see some more hits/page views etc to make the price worth it.
It's going to be hard to get the balance right, and that's where the SEO comes in, which unfortuently I don't know enough about to help you with, but I'm sure someone else on here can help
The best thing about the milliondollarhomepage was that even on the last few available spaces, people could still just spend 1 dollar to get a pixel, whereas with your cubes, the price will keep rising and rising. I see that you're doing this to get people to buy quick, but soon I think the price will be too high.
Overall, very nice though and if you can refine the idea a little and get enough people in, you should be making a lot of money
