Name of Site/Business: Link-Exchangers
Site's Main Purpose: Ecommerce/Sales
Please Review the following:
Does the home page sufficiently convince people to go further into the site?
Does/can the site achieve its main purpose?
Navigation. Is it clear and easy to understand?
Appearance/Attractiveness
Search engine marketing. Can the pages be reasonably well indexed by search engines?
Additional Comments/Notes
I have had my site now since July, and Google still hasn't allocated page rank to it. I'm wondering why this is taking so long. I have linked to it from a number of my websites.
Thanks for your review.

Fact: Google does not like sites that exchange links for PageRank and they epecially don't like sites that charge for links without using "nofollow".

You may struggle to get a useful review here as the service you offer is frowned upon in this forum.
It's worth noting that many of the links to your site are from FFAs, link farms and forums. These are considered bad neighbourhoods (apart from the forums) and you will most likely be penalised for it. Even if you are awarded a PR, you will most likely have a zero LR and will not appear in the search results.
Come to think of it, so would anybody spending money on your service. Hence the fact that your product is frowned upon.

Frowned upon in the forum? Exactly why is that Hampstead?
First of all you're completely incorrect about the links to my site. Name one Link Farm or FFA site that is indexed in Google... Can you show me one? There are some links from reputable SEO forums, and a few others as well. There are none of those types of sites in my directory. Can you show me one there?
I don't know how long you've been in the SEO arena, but regardless of how long, and the number of postings you have in this forum, you seem to misunderstand an important concept about Google. Google will NOT penalize ANY site for stuff that anyone can do to anothers site.. In other words, people can go and post any website in any FFA site, or link farm and it has NO affect on rankings in Google to that site. Why? Because Google correctly understands that the site owner may not have created this inbound link. It's only when a site owner links their site OUT to a FFA or link farm, or otherwise banned site from Google, which is within their control, that Google will penalize a site. I hope that makes sense to you Hampstead, because that's the way things works at Google..
I'm sorry but your statement above :
" These are considered bad neighbourhoods (apart from the forums) and you will most likely be penalised for it."
is technically incorrect and misleading to people in this forum. Yes they are bad neighborhoods, but maybe you should study your SEO a little more before you try to bash websites and make the incorrect statements that you do. In fact you can start by reading my book available here:
link-exchangers.com/SEObook/seobook.pdf
Also, the Moderator doesn't realize that my site creates a link directory on the member's host which is spidered and receives page rank. All this is expalined on the site.
Also, my site is currently FREE, although how long that will remain is not certain.
Secondly, I and ask the moderator what do you mean "without using no follow?
Here's my tag:
<meta content="index, follow" name="robots" />
Let me know if you think that's bad for the site, and if so why you do.

Scott,
See: dreamweaverinc.com/cgi-bin/ffa/links.cgi FFA indexed in Google pointing at you main site. Took me 1 minute to find using this tool siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/search?p=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.link-exchangers.com%2F&bwm=i&bwms=p&bwmf=u&fr2=seo-rd-se
My post is factually correct. You are operating on out dated knowledge. Link exchanging is no longer a good practice. At best it's a waste of time (unless you actually get visitors by following the link) and at worst it will damage your site.
I know it's not what you want to hear, but it's the truth.
