I don't understand!
It's password protected, so SEs may have some difficulty.
But what is it?
Why would I register?
What's it for?
It's difficult to advise on a site that doesn't tell you what it's there for

I have to agree with "Quadrille". There's no explanation of what the site will do for me. Style-wise it's okay. Flesh it out some more for us.

Thank you all for your comments. I haven't been able to reproduce the 500 error so I'm not sure what that's about.
I've added some text content on the homepage to briefly explain what the site is capable of and more importantly how a user can take advantage of it.
The login isn't necessary to use the site as a whole. Only certain functionality is blocked without an account.
Again, thank you. Your suggestions are all helpful.

I have just been on the site and I dont see any text explaining what the site is supposed to do.
I assume it offers a variation of Google personalised search but when I used it to search for "dublin hotels" the results seem quite strange.
The tab structure employed on the right side panel worked well and was easy to navigate and quick to respond.
The prominence of the login area and the fact that it looks like a requirement is very offputting.
I clicked on the two of the "Available Engines" but nothing happened other than a page re-load.
In overall terms the site is a bit confusing and you really need to spell out what is does or is supposed to do.
Best of luck with it.
Philip
