My line of work is building up sagging or struggling online businesses.
In most cases if someone wishes to sell, they need the money. I understand that point clearly. If the site is really doing OK, then there usually little need to sell it.
I take a websites from basically nothing, from scratch or from low performance and heap tons of love and attention, hard work and know-how on it to make it a much better website. And I make money selling products or services.
Currently, I am seeking static websites that have a PR of 2 and better, with a fairly decent .com or .net domain name, original and/or license-transferable content, a few listings in the SE's and perhaps a member or email list.
If you have your own products or services, that is even better. If you are a content site, that can be good, too.
It is preferable that the site has face-value quality to it that appears original, but at least not a knock-off.
Cookie-cutters need not contact me; I am an experienced developer and will spot or tease out a jiffy-whipped or duplicated site in a heartbeat.
The niches I am seeking are:
- people and/or people search
- dating and/or relationship
- music and/or artist
- general info or niche searches
- directory, facts or reference
- ebook, software or web services
If yours is not listed above, but you feel it have value and potential, write me and I'll look it over.
I am businessman, so please do not expect to get top dollars from me.
However I am reasonable, I know value when I see it and have no need to cheat you out of what you've work hard for.
But also, I have no need to pay more than it is really worth, either.
My approach is to check several sources and use my own experiences to determine true value to me and then, I'll make you a reasonable offer. Feel free to tell me what you will take for it.
If you need money, just wish to sell, are having trouble getting things going, or there is much too much going on in your life to give it the time & work it really needs, contact me and let's talk it through.
When you contact me please provide as much as possible of the following information about your website(s) or online business:
1. What is the previous 12-months total revenue from the website, if any?
2. What size member or email database comes with it?
3. Is the content original or licensed, and does it come with fully transferable rights?
4. What are the "monthly" unique visitor totals for the past 6 months?
5. What is the site's average bandwidth usage per month?
6. Is this a mirror (shared), gateway, link-farm or doorway website or are there any of those connected to the domain or site you wish to sell?
7. What is your number of outbound links to other sites?
8. How many sub-domains are on the site?
9. Are there any re-directs anywhere on the site?
10. What is the total number of static pages to the site?

I'm considering selling couple of my sites due to time issues. Though I do believe what you are willing to offer is not near the amounts I'd be ready to take. And note that these sites are not static. But just in case, here are two websites.
InvestingExperience.com
1. What is the previous 12-months total revenue from the website, if any?
Around $250-350/mo, so possibly between $3000-$4000. Most of it is via static link sales (through linkworth.com) and $50-100/mo is from adsense. And it's also "earning books" via one affiliate, possibly $500-$1000 additional income per year if you'd sell the books.
2. What size member or email database comes with it?
Around 3500 members.
3. Is the content original or licensed, and does it come with fully transferable rights?
The system has been built from scratch. Articles are from free e-zines, they're just additional content
4. What are the "monthly" unique visitor totals for the past 6 months?
2000-5000 uniques per mo, so total per last 6 months is around 25000.
5. What is the site's average bandwidth usage per month?
The site requires quite much server resources, but just ca 2 GB of bandwidth per mo.
6. Is this a mirror (shared), gateway, link-farm or doorway website or are there any of those connected to the domain or site you wish to sell?
no.
7. What is your number of outbound links to other sites?
Quite many as I'm selling links there $30-$50 per link per mo.
8. How many sub-domains are on the site?
None
9. Are there any re-directs anywhere on the site?
No.
10. What is the total number of static pages to the site?
No static pages, everything is going through php and mysql. The urls have of course been mod-rewritten.
The site has PR3 with most google servers already showing PR5.

Around 250 bands and 500 songs.

Just band who have registered themselved.

500 per mo? If you add hotlinking sites then a lot more.
5. What is the site's average bandwidth usage per month?
Loads. Depends on traffic. Just think about the fact one song is ca 3-5mb.
6. Is this a mirror (shared), gateway, link-farm or doorway website or are there any of those connected to the domain or site you wish to sell?
no.
7. What is your number of outbound links to other sites?
Two? Of which one again is paid link.
8. How many sub-domains are on the site?
As many as there's bands, sa I guess around 250.

No.
10. What is the total number of static pages to the site?
No static pages, everything is going through php and mysql. The urls have of course been mod-rewritten.
Site is PR3 and domain was registered already ca 4 years back.

Note that while you're a businessman, I'm a site owner who knows the value of the sites to me or their potential value to me. So in either case, for me to consider selling the numbers will need to be at least **** and in first case possibly upper-****.
