I am currently looking to add some websites to my portfolio. The websites I consider purchasing should have a PR of 2 or better, have a decent domain name (only .com's, no hyphens, no numbers), have original and/or license-transferable content, some listings in SE's, and possibly member and/or email lists.
It is important that the site have a good look to it, be professional, and not be a knock-off or cookie cutter template type site.
This is a business for me so I am looking to be fair, but to also purchase something that I can recoop my investment, and improve.
Maybe you are tired of the site, need the money, or are just too busy to work on it anymore - Please contact me.
Please also include in your email as much information as possible so that I can research the site and collect any questions I might want to ask you. I am looking for the following information when considering the purchase of a website:
1. What is the previous 12-months total revenue from the website, if any?
2. What size member or email database comes with it?
3. Is the content original or licensed, and does it come with fully transferable rights?
4. What are the "monthly" unique visitor totals for the past 6 months?
5. What is the site's average bandwidth usage per month?
6. Is this a mirror (shared), gateway, link-farm or doorway website or are there any of those connected to the domain or site you wish to sell?
7. What is your number of outbound links to other sites?
8. How many sub-domains are on the site?
9. Are there any re-directs anywhere on the site?
10. What is the total number of static pages to the site?
