well my friends, I own a web site, but I need to hide the real url from curious people.

so I want to in the browser´s url bar appear : mydomain.com/cgi-bin/some.cgi?ID=(some bunch of numbers) instead of the real url

    can somebody help me??

I am not a good programmer so if you could give me the resource its better for me.

    thanks.

There are many ways of doing this. You can use the client side method using JavaScript or use the server side method where you can also track standard server environment variables as given below:
    User IP address
    Browser type
    Date and time
    Requested URL
    Referrer

The server side technique will allow you to write these information into a custom log file for later analysis.

You should find several dozen scripts from the leading script repositories. The site in my profile also has a script under the name of 'tracking redirector'.
