Hi
Is it possible to integrate a PHP script with a CGI (Perl) one? Do you think it would be problematic? What I am basically integrating is a PHP affiliate center with a CGI script.
Regards
rowanp.

It's only a problem when processing submitted form data. You have to choose if the form is to send the data to a PHP script or a Perl script. If you want it to post to the Perl script and then the PHP script the Perl script would have to issue a redirect as a respose and repost the data to the PHP script. Could get confusing.
You could also have one form on a page sending data to PHP and another sending data to Perl.

As far as I know, the integration would not involve form data. The PHP script would have to take data given to it from a URL - such as [link] - and use it to give the affiliate a commission if the user performs a certain function at the site.

I would like to submit a simple email using a formmail cgi upon submission of a php online application.
My web host wont allow for a php email script or I would just do that. So it possible to simply echo the submit button on the online application to the cgi script to notify me when an application has been submitted to my sql database?
