Dear All,
I am trying to install phpbb2 on my own server with apache, mysql 4 and php
but when i isntall and put all names and stuff in phpbb2/install/install.php
i got an error :
Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user 'jalaln'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in c:program filesapache groupapachehtdocsphpbb2dbmysql4.php on line 48

phpBB : Critical Error
Could not connect to the database
Now i open the phpbb2dbmysql4.php and in line 48 i have this:
$this->db_connect_id = ($this->persistency) ? mysql_pconnect($this->server, $this->user, $this->password) : mysql_connect($this->server, $this->user, $this->password);
Can someone help ? please? i am dieing to install phpbb2 :D

Ok! all is right now.
I created a databse and username and password...
:D
