Hi,
I am new to the forum and need an answer for the following case:
I am trying to embed a URL into an html page and cam up fine in all browsers except IE, surprise, surprise. I used the following code:
<!--[if IE]>

<object classid="clsid:25336920-03F9-11CF-8FD0-00AA00686F13 style=”height: 300px; width: 500px; display: block;”" data="http://204.202.2.177/jobs/index.php">

<p>backup content</p>

</object>

<![endif]-->

<!--[if !IE]> <-->
<object classid="”clsid:25336920-03F9-11CF-8FD0-00AA00686F13″" data="http://204.202.2.177/jobs/index.php" type="text/html" width="742" height="700">
<embed src="http://204.202.2.177/jobs/index.php" width="742" height="700"><noembed><img src="images/meetings3.jpg" width="742" height="700" /></noembed></embed>

<p>backup content</p>
</object>
<!--> <![endif]-->

I think the problem lies with reading a php. I dont know what the correct clsid value would be for a php.
Does anyone out there have an answer for this? Thanks so much for your help!!!!!!

Embedding an object element has nothing to do with PHP. What kind of interactive control element you want to embed in the HTML ?

If it has something to do with ActiveX - like embedding a digital media file,then you probably this link could be of help :
