I just upgraded wordpress on my site and now my home page is showing an error code above each post. it doesnt have anything wrong on individual post pages though. This is what the error says:

Warning: array_key_exists(): The first argument should be either a string or an integer in /home/content/b/f/r/bfree74/html/wp-includes/category-template.php on line 176

Can anyone help me fix this?

It is a warning. If your server is configured to hide the PHP warnings ( which most production servers are ), you will not see these warnings. With that said, you have to dig deep into the category-template.php file.
