Hello,
Can anyone advise on the best way to appeal a Google decision to refuse to accept my site to the AdSense program please? In so far as I can tell my site does not breach their policies. I would like them to look at it again but I don't want to tick them off and blow my chances for ever.

thanks.

You should have received an email from them. If it says that you've been turned down in the email, then I would politely respond to that email asking them why you've been turned down.

Some of the reasons why I've seen Adsense turn down sites are: lack of content, lack of spiderable pages (not enough text on your pages for them to determine what each page is about), topic of content (they don't accept certain types of sites), running other text-based ad services on your site, site being too commercial and not informational in nature.

Also add to the denial 'site competitive with Google offerings'.. I've had two sites denied because of that.

Thank you for that. As far as I can ascertain my site does not fall into the categories that you have outlined. I'm sure that if I can engage someone in Google in dialogue I can clear up any misapprehensions that they might have. It's just that I don't want to burn my bridges with them by appearing to be too pushy. I think the advice to reply in polite manner is best and just hope for the best. Thanks. I appreciate your help.

sweetberry, there's just not much I can do to help without knowing any more specifics about your site. I wouldn't worry about burning any bridges with them. Did they send you an email saying that you were denied? If so, then I would respond to that asking them if they could give you more details. They're typically pretty good about saying exactly why you've been denied.

BridalClicks, I'll add that to the list--but I would have to say that I'm not completely surprised that you would be turned down.

bhartzer,
I will send them an email as you suggest and I will report back on this string to let you know how I get on and any useful info that I can glean.

Thanks again.
