Confused.... I'm writing articles on my site that are not directly related to my industry, but are home improvement related.

The problem I have is that adwords is showing ads for my industry, and not what the article is about. How can I get this to change? I've adjusted tags on the page (title, meta, header, alt, etc.) and there is no reference to my industry except links back to my main page.

Anyone help with what to do to get the correct ads to show?

Put the pages up two days ago. I'm not showing free ads, I'm showing ads that are related to my industry. However, the ads that should display are a different industry, and they are no showing.

if that makes any sense.

An example is at www.jesbasementsystems.com/outdoor/wickerfurniture.html. The ads should show info on wicker furniture, but instead show ads for basement waterproofing (which is what my site is, but not this page)

Any help?

When you first put up new ads you may first have public service announcements. As you add additional pages to Adsense they will usually display ads for the content of your site until their robot visits the new page.

Then hopefully you'll see ads that are about the content of that specific page within a few days. Although that doesn't always happen, usually it does.

I have a few pages that just refuse to display ads about that page's content no matter what I change but most of the time you can get the ads to be relevant by modifying the page.
