I got an Email from google about the new Relevance that they were going to have in the adsense program.
I am just looking at my site (wich is a Mexico travel site) and here I have a few examples of the ad topics.

Why is the sky Blue?

Why Did Cleopatra Die?

All ads directing you to google!!!!
I dont know about this but I dont think that someone that visits my site wants to know why the sky is blue and does not really care why Cleopatra died!!!!
I dont know guys, but I dont like this!!!

Okay,

We are not allowed to talk about money made, but I would like to know how many folks here find their revenue increased by the new relevance.

I, for one, am showing a big downturn sad

Still think it's too early to quantify the actual impact, but I can say with certainty that I have seen no increase...

Hm, haven't seen the ads directing one to a Google search yet. Can't say that I'd like them too much if I did.. unless they are paying. If they are, then by all means...

Regarding the relevence changes, I think it's good to at least see a sign that they are still working with and trying to improve the program. Of course, that's not going to be much consolation to those that see a reduced income because of the changes.

I do have a few clients who have indicated the changes have made a decent impact on the relevance (and thus the CTR and income) of the AdSense ads that they are carrying. I also have heard from others that they are adversely affected. For my own purposes, I'm still seeing a better amount from AdSense than I am from other CPC programs, so all is well.
