I registered a new domain and ten minutes later, I was able to browse to it, so propagation was very fast, and adsense appeared and relevant. No PSA'a

Another site, whatever I do I cannot get proper ads to show. Aparts from PSA's, I get plenty of search engine optimisation ads, Korean search engine ads and so on, but nothing relevent to an index page that is content rich

Any ideas please, because this site gets reasonable traffic, the adsense takes up a fair amount of real estate, being the only income generator on the site and the bandwidth is being eaten up with no financial return at the moment ?

If it's showing PSA's, my understanding it's an indication of low traffic on that topic. basically, they only show non-PSA ads if the volume on the topic is worthwhile.

We're not talking volume on your site here - volume on the Internet - the whole Internet.

...and FWIW, I only ever saw one PSA on my site, ever...so I'd say they are pretty quick to figure out what you're about.
