This is the way I did for many web sites. I personally tested different AdSense strategies, this one drives people crazy about clicking on AdSense.

Step 1. You create a top 10 list, I usually name it '10 top bla-bla web sites' (bla-bla stands for the name of the niche your web site works in).

Step 2. You put AdSense into this top 10, but special type of AdSense design - they look like headlines, just a line of text with words, nothing more.

TIP: you can stuff all 10 lines with AdSense, I usually put 3-5 AdSense for 10 'top web sites'.

The scheme works like crazy, those who are searching the web for something, will surely look through top 10. You do not cheat anybody, the web sites are relevant (this is Google job) and you get Google checks monthly.

Use it. It works.

I would be careful with that, as "you" are endorsing whatever is in that list (even though the content is completely out of your control); and if anything is wrong with what is in that list then it is your reputation that will suffer.

If it works, then use it - just be careful to review the results occasionally.

It sounds to me like you're encouraging users to click--which is against the Adsense terms of service. As far as I know, you cannot do anything to call special attention to those Adsense ad units.

Before you do anything like this, I would get specific permission from Adsense--it's most likely going to be prohibited.

Sounds misleading, which is I'm sure how Google would view it too. Honestly, I'd stay far away from this kind of tactic - this is the type of path that led the banner industry from being great to what it is now.

Hi,

I can see you are a seasoned adsense user. My main concern is how much that one can actually make in a month. For example, how much can a website with about 100 visitors a day(3000/mth) make?

Thanx in advance,
Anthony.

Athony,

Est. Earning
3000/mth * 3% (estimated CTR) * 0.25 (Average Cost Per Click)
= $22.5

Increase your earning by
- increase your CTR (good ad placement)
- increase your CPC (target high value keywords)

regards
Casey

The original post seems to be recommending that you hide the fact that the links are Adsense ads. That is definitely against the Google TOS and will get you banned.

If you did this and the ads conform to Google's TOS which means they show the Sponsored Ad text, etc. it could work. I'd have to see an example of a page to know for sure what freetraff is suggesting.
