    hi to all..

i am a new member and new to all these stuffs. Well, i recently find out that i can make money from adsense and applied for it and got it approved.

1 month passed without having much, then i got a friend and he gave me adsense ready sites. I had generated the adcode and placed it on inc file, and it appears on every pages at the site. What I want to know is, am i doing right or voilating the terms.

the second thing is that, now i had put up my pages in traffic exchanges and paid to program surf zones. the result is such with in a week i got more than 2000 page impressions and earned around $.30.00 with a CTR of just below 3. In these prorograms members are not requested to click on the ads. Well, i just want to know i am heading for trouble, or is it ok?

Well, with all the experienced members here, i think i will get good guidelines from you people.waiting for your replies.

traffic exchange is a big no no for adsense.

"Any method that artificially generates clicks or impressions is strictly prohibited. These prohibited methods include but are not limited to: repeated manual clicks or impressions, incentives to click or to generate impressions, using robots, automated click and impression generating tools, third-party services that generate clicks or impressions such as paid-to-click, paid-to-surf, autosurf, and click-exchange programs, or any deceptive software. Please note that clicking on your own ads for any reason is prohibited, to avoid potential inflation of advertiser costs." ~ google policy `

getting the sites - you're fine. (provided they're real sites without hidden redirects etc.

getting artificial traffic and impressions - yeah, that'll get you in touble.

It's not just about clicks on the ads, it's about impressions, too.

Build sites with good, unique content, place the ads in there, and market the website to the right audience - the traffic and revenues will flow form this.

Short-cuts will get you some quick money, and shut out o fthe program at some point. Build it according to the rules and you'll have long-term income which grows steadily.

We've discussed this before and I want to mention something that many new online site owners don't seem to understand. Most advertisers (the people paying to have their ads shown) consider paid to read aka paid to surf type programs as organized theft.

They pay for ads to be seen and clicked on by people who are sincerely interested in what they're offering. Paying someone to click on them for the joint financial gain of the program and the person doing the clicking is stealing money from the advertisers.

When you get caught - and if you don't quit in a hurry you WILL get caught - Google will ban you forever. Build quality content and gradually increase your traffic and you can eventually make a lot of money.

I disagree. If traffic from traffic exchange is NO NO then traffic from PPC should be BIG NO NO; because in PPC you pay for clicks to drive traffic targeted to your adsense ads.

There is a definite distinction between displaying ads where someone may click on them and a program that pays someone for clicking on them. Although it may seem like a gray area to some, the simple test is whether they're being paid or not.

FYI: In traffic exchange, you DON'T pay to click on adsense ads. You either visit other members sites (no need to click any advertise) or pay the network to give credit; so other members will visit your site (again they don't need to click any adsense or any other advertise).
