Resolution problem
I am having a problem where I am not able to see my website properly. Unless my resolution is set
to 800 by 600 pixel
.
If I am using a resolution of 1152 by 864 pixels it shows me the site on the left site and not all over the scree.
How can I fix that? can anyone help? [url removed.]

Your main 'holding' table is coded like so:
Because the width (778 pixels in this case, which by the way will still leave horizontal scroll on lots of peoples monitors) is set to an absolute amount it never streches to fit the screen. Try changing it to a percentage amount like so:

It's not always possible or desired to have tables fixed as a percentage. I have been getting conflicting answers re: the problem of fixing table widths, Some places I read that the maximum to display in 800 x 600 is 760 pixels & others anywhere up to 770 pixels.
What is the definitive answer on this & where can I find evidence to prove once & for all what is the maximum?

There is no 'definitive' answer. There are many factors that go into deciding how to code your web page. If you want 'all' of the visitors to be able to see 'everything' on your web page, you will need to plan to keep it at 600 wide or less. Yes, there are still people viewing the web with a monitor that can only handle 800x600
Also, who is your demographics? If you are targeting people who will know what they are doing, have a great computer and monitor and view at large sizes, then to heck with the others - design for them.
You need to design your page (with set pixel widths or percentages) in a way that will be most pleasing to your potential visitors. If you do that, you will be more successful.
