Tell me how to enlargew in sense of dimensions for printing purposes without losing its quality i.e., pixels should not be cracked.

This is virtually impossible. You can try Genuine Fractals PrintPro - I've had a little success with it, but I enlage the pic bigger than I want to use it and then downsize to actual size required at 300ppi and sharpen in Photoshop. HTH

Ditto, I have yet to find a method of enlarging an image without distorting it. The larger you go the worse it gets.
Depending on the image there are some things you can do, like philh described, to make it not so bad but it's far better to recreate (if possible) the image and start from there.

If it's something like a logo I would invest some money in getting a graphic designer to recreate it for you as a vector file (eg .ai or .eps) so you can resize it to any size without compromising quality

basically you can't.
but you can get reasonable results using different algorithums. Bi-cubic is the best and most readaly available. but if you want better results try the new s-spline technique. not many programmes support it yet, but it can scale to about 400% withough a noticable degridation of quality (apparently!!!)

it is physically impossible to enlarge an image unless it's still in it's PSD file (or something similar) because it uses some many pixels, when you enlarge it, you just make those pixels bigger
any software that supposidly makes images bigger will add pixels to the picture but may add some funky colours to it, if it's a photograph, try and take it again, if it's a logo, do what webmaster-toolkit said

The bottom line is this:
To have a clean, clear, non-pixelated enlargement, you need the original image to be large.
If you want, say, and 8x10 print of an image, 1.3 megapixels will not be enough. You'll need at least 3+ megapixels to have a clean, clear enlargement.
There is no easily accessible/usable software that can compensate and give you the quality you seek.
What you get out depends directly on what you put in. Low quality in = low quality out, sorry to say.

OK, let's talk numbers here.
If you have an image saved at 300 dpi even (or ppi, if you like), and it's saved to be at that resolution at a size of 150 x 150, it'll look great at that size. Whether online or printed, it'll look great.
If you simply take that image, open it in Fireworks (which I have and use), tell it to change the image size to, let's say 600 x 600, then save it, it'll look bad.
I know you still told it to save it as 300 dpi/ppi, but the bottom line remains:
To get good quality from a larger image, you need enough data in the original to start with.
The software alone won't make miracles happen.
Try this with Firewords, try it with Adobe Photoshop (which I also have and use) and the results will be the same.
You must have a quality image with lots of detail to start with if you want to enlarge it and get great results. ...and don't kid yourslef, an image that looks good on your monitor is no indication that there's enough actual detail in it to support clean, clear enlargements. Low quality, low resolution images usually still look great on monitors.

sportsguy is right and I'll quote what I said before in fewer words
It is impossible to make it larger and keep quality, using SportsGuy's example, if you had a 150px X 150px and you wanted it 600px X 600px, it would stretch the 150px to fit 600px, not create the extra pixels needed which is where the quality comes from.
If your doing something in it's raw state in a program, such as fireworks and photoshop, where it has layers you can change it, make it bigger smaller, 180 it, whatever, with a .gif, .jpg, .bmp and others that I can't remember right now are set in that state and cannot be made bigger AND keep quality. You can usually get away with increasing an image by about 5% (if that) but it still looks dodgy

Excellent way to explain it dudibob.
