Hi All! I am informatically invalid when it comes to this sector. I need to insert in a website page an 'iframe' that will allow me to install a rate calculator from a VoIP Provider. I thought this would have been an easy 'free iFrame template' with simple instructions for people who know 99% nothing of web designing; however, it's getting frustrating ... Can someone please help me out with this quest? Thanks Gregg PS I need to insert the iFrame into a site I am personally developing using Site Studio. Thanks again! |

here ya go <html> <body> <iframe src ="/default.asp"> </iframe> </body> </html> make default the page you want to show in the frame Some older browsers don't support iframes. If they don't, the iframe will not be visible. then you have a bunch of tags you can add for alignment and such you can get them here [link] but, iframes are old school, you sure that that is what you really want to do? What is you widget coded in? Does it come with a java script that you can just put in the page? |

Hi! I am not sure of anything. Just following the receommendations of the service provider who supplies me with their 'rate calculator'. I appreciate your help! "Widget"? "...come with a Java script"? I have a link which opens to the 'rate calculator'. I assume (?) that the idea is it opens automatically within the iFrame when someone goes to our site (or relative site page). I inserted this link into the iFrame you gave me. The iFrame works ... however inside I get only the link in large letters at the moment. I am now awake (I am in Italy), and my first challenge of the day is to get this thing inserted into our page and working. I even offered to pay a Company Online (web designers) a fee for this service; asking for a cost estimate. No reply. Now I am just determined to get it done somehow. Have a Great Day! Gregg |

if you pm me a link to the site with the calculator, i'll take a look and see what needs to be done, if its as cut and dry as I think it is I'll just do it for you |

The common attributes such as width, height, and frameborder are used often. In the example the width is set to 400 pixels wide and height is set to 200 pixels with frameborder set to “0” meaning there is no visible border shown. If the browser doesn't support iframes, people will see the message between the iframe tags: “Seems your browser doesn't support IFRAME. Etc text.” The src tag pulls in the web page to be viewed such as the URL to the rate calculator (replace “http://www.site.com/page.to.include.htm” with the correct URL). HTH |
