lets rank on the spammer so that these people will know what they are dealing with

lets look in his head
he has spammed the meta tags, yeah that makes sense, spam the forums, spam the web pages,
lets create new metas and place keyword lists in each one
<meta name="keyphrase"
<meta name="classification"
<meta name="abstract"

yeah, like that will make a clients site rank number 1 on Google.

He spelled optimization, optimisation

they actually submit your pages to the search engines ARGH!

i guess that is all you get for $10.00 an hour

this is a great example of the discussion started here

Why wasn't this thread moved to the Xvault? It's spam. Check his profile, he's promoting his own business and not really asking a question.

BTW, it's the second time he did it.

Need some help. I am a networker wanting to put up a website to advertise various products and services. Also I want to add voice script. (simple copy & paste).

Nothing fancy - I'm looking at the free templates. Given this sernario, any recommendations of what I should look for or stay away from in the templates?

Thanks, Jackie

what others do in the joomla community is take the free templates and then change the graphics and then change the font, colors, spacing nd sizing and such in the css file. they are very simple to modify and if your clever your site will have a unigue look to it.

you do want to work with the newer templates from a reputable site. they are open source and as such some have poor coding which cause issues including browser compatibility and content positioning.

isn't the purple cow copywrited by seth godin

Thank you for the information - I must tell you that I only understood a small part of it. I'm using the templates because I do not understand the technology of building a website.

I do understand about modifying and customizing the template.

Purple cow maybe copywrited to Seth, however purple cowboys belongs
to the purple cowboys.

He's in "business" but doesn't want to pay any money for a nice website? What the crap? How can you go into business and not expect to pay at least SOME startup money? Good grief!

someone someplace told the world that putting your business on the web is free, and theat marketing it on the web is even cheaper, and those that do SEO should pay the cleints or the privilege.

and whats worse, is the people who devalue themselves and take the jobs for nothing.

the internet is a complex place and no one can learn all of the needed disciplines needed to be successful in a week, or month, or year. there is a belief that its simple (well...it really is to some people) and that a company can assign the task to anyone and that they can learn it by tomorrow

not true

Would you want a special sign for your website? You can use Artword Editor: Creat artword graphics for presentations and Web sites. Look at www.zcstar.com

Very funny. Marketing on the web is cheaper than free. Wow, I should start marketing on the web because then I'll get free income just for marketing on the web. Any SEO's out there want to pay me for the privilege of optimizing my sites? laugh
