Today I got an email fromYahoo after submitting the biz.express. Our website was denied due to:
Note: Not Netscape compatible using version 4.7

Can anyone please let me know how to make the website Netscape friendly. We use Frontpage when building webpages.

This is the website: http://www.websitehosting-service.com/

Thanks

At a glance it just fails to render certain parts of the page. I'll take a look a little later. Hopefully super baffled will look in here and help you out.

Something like that maybe? You'll need to add a little cellspacing to the content tables, download the extra images I've used and add all the links and content.

If you don't want to use my example you should start with a new document (your code is a mess ), add a table, test in Netscape and Explorer, add a picture, test in both browsers, add something more, test, etc.

Always test the page when you're designing, it is easier to fix problems if you discover them before the page is finished.

The parts not being rendered, near the menus, are blank cells with background images. IE will render blank cells, but Netscape won’t. With Netscape, you need to put something in the cell to see the background image. A non-breaking space will work if it’s not too large, or you can use a 1x1 invisible gif.

I didn’t try any of the functionality, but that should take care of the appearance.

Thank you all for your help.

First we tried fixing the Netscape problems on each page, but this was wayyyy too time consuming, so we re-designed the whole site.

It is now VERY Netscape friendly smile

Thanks all
