What resolution are most people browsing at these days?

I want to change my sites so that they are formatted for best viewing by the most people. What is the standard these days to format for? And what is the best way to format a site for that width? Do I just put the whole page in a table of that width? But I thought pics in tables don't show until all is loaded, so isn't that bad?

Please help!

Hey Peter,

We've discussed this topic several times already. If you search this forum for "screen resolution" you'll get more results than you'll know what to do with.

Here is one of the more current threads with all you need to know: http://gethighforums.com/Forum7/HTML/000276.html
