I can't remember what this font was called. I need to use it for a new section of my website: http://www.litmania.com/bla/features/hedfeatures.gif I had it in my list of installed fonts, but the guy in the computer shop has formatted an entire partition of my harddrive by mistake and I've lost all my installed fonts along with so many vital files! Thank you very much.

Thank you, jkcity, that's very kind of you. Thanks for taking the trouble to help me out All I can remember is it was from one of the major font sites, one of the first ten listed at google. Sorry, I know that's not much help. Some of those sites have got hundreds of fonts. That's why I thought I'd ask somebody here... Thank you once again.

The idiot at the computer shop even took £150 from me ($220 approx.). Later I realised that all he essentially did was install a new hard-drive and install Windows on it.These computer technicians get paid WAY too much. Found the font. It's called Radio Space. Thanks for everyone's advice. I do appreciate it.

It sounds funny but you really can't go wrong if you teach yourself about the hardware actually inside the computer. I upgrade my system all the time and I just buy the parts, it really makes a difference in the long run. Essentially computers are just like lego. Do yourself a favor and buy the book called "Upgrading and Repairing Your PC" its absolutely huge but fantastic.

I think I might have to take up your advice Sinoed. It's just that in my (and almost anybody else I know's) experience, computers don't always work the way they're supposed to.I know that with my programming where the simplest thing can end up taking hours. And I know that, for example, installing a CD-Rom Drive, which should be achievable in a few minutes, might end up taking hours. But I will check out the book your recommended. If anything, fiddling with the inside of my PC it might be more fun than Perl or PhP! Best wishes

Don't get me wrong, there are lots of ways to mess up your computer. But that is by far the best way to learn. Go ahead and change something without knowing what the heck you ever managed to do except that you definitely know you need to fix it. When I first started putting PC's together I had a couple of those problems and I hated them, but I'm glad that I did because its a peice of cake now. Actually computers are easier to build than they ever were because of "plug and play" devices. Just put it into the right slot, turn the computer on and your OS (like Windows) does the rest. Grab and old 486 or something just to fool around with and you'll get the hang of it.

When I bought my first computer, I had to realise that it was a big piece of crap. So I bought myself some new parts. After a week of pure stress and fiddling, it was finaly setup. But now I know everything about hardware that is needed to get everything to work just fine. All I'm trying to say is that when installing new parts, you will face some trouble, but it's worth it, 'cause after installing them, you will know your computer and you will also save yourself a lot of money. And it's not that difficult, believe me!
