I have two different test pages I'm comparing. http://www.zyworld.com/caraudio/blue9.htm - Has an applet interactive banner, which according to netmechanic is about 20k bytes more than the script version on this test page: http://www.zyworld.com/caraudio/blue9b.htm Now, when I load the respective pages, load time seems to be about the same to me, I don't notice a difference. Can someone with more experience tell me, Is there a noticeable difference in load time between these two pages? If so, which one is faster? Slower? I would like to use this page design as a template for an entire site, so I need to get the first page right. Any and all comments are welcome, thank you in advance. - Gary

The second one seems quicker, but the banner seems to be missing a chunk on the right.I'm sorry, but I can't say I really like the rippling effect
